January 2024 — I’ll be participating in the group show Glot, curated by Sophie Rose, alongside artists Shahrzad Changalvaee, Nour Mobarak, and Anri Sala.

January 2024 — The Whitney Museum announced that I’ll be participating in the 2024 Whitney Biennial. I’ll be participating as both a solo artist and as creative lead for the collective People Who Stutter Create (along with Jia Bin, Delicia Daniels, Conor Foran, and Kristel Kubart).

December 2023 — I talked about and played from my new album Compline in Nine Movements at WNYC.

May 2023 — Some of my photographs and excerpts from my book The Clearing will be featured in the group show Tongues of Fire at Ballroom Marfa. Thank you for the invitation, Daisy!

March 2023 — WNYC’s New Sounds aired a live recording from a concert I played to support Faten Kanaan’s album release show for her new album Afterpoem. Congratulations, Faten!

February 2023 — Excerpts from my book The Clearing were printed and hung as part of the group show Landscape Hot Mic at Juf in Madrid.

November 2022 — I gave a concert at Schauspielhaus Zürich. Thank you, Mathis, for the invitation! And Angel Bat Dawid kindly invited me to play with her at Saint Ghetto Festival in Bern, Switzerland. November 2022 — I am so grateful I got to perform with Angel Bat Dawid at Virginia Commonwealthy University’s Institute for Contemporary Art. Video of the concert available here.

October 2022 — My video Impediment is Information will be screened in Oklahoma Contemporary Art Center’s group exhibition Fugitive Speech. I am so grateful to be included alongside the amazing artists Emily M. Chase and Anita Fields.

October 2019 — I participated in THE FACE OF THE PLANET, an evening of short films at Anthology Film Archives, curated by Courtney Stephens and Mathilde Walker-Billaud, presented by The Flaherty and MONO NO AWARE.  I live scored three of the evening’s films: NATURE’S HANDIWORK (Percy Smith, 1921) (clip of my score here), ALASKA’S EIGHTH WONDER (REEL 2) (1925), and OIL WELLS: STURGEON ROAD AND 97TH ST (Christina Battle, 2003).

October 2019 — I performed in HISTORY/OURSTORY, an afternoon of short performances held at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club, directed by James E. Reynolds. Video of my performance here and text here.
